You know how it feels to walk on a flat moving escalator?
Twice the speed with a third the effort. Its the same feeling riding an electric bike. Experience it!

LiteStream eBike riders experiences:

My Thanksgiving Ride: "I decided to test the miles per charge in my LiteStream eBike so I rode from the Las Vegas Strip to the Red Rock Canyon park entrance and back. I started at Freemont Street and rode up Alta Drive until I crossed over the 215 Freeway and then went south to Charleston then west again to the Red Rocks. Alta Drive is a nice residential street without a lot of businesses. This turned out to be a 38 mile round trip and 1800 ft elevation climb. I didn't conserve and used the pedal assist the entire trip. Most of the trips climb I was in 5th gear with the third pedal assist setting. This was a 2 3/4 hour ride not including a 30 min. coffee break and stops to shoot photos. Even with the stop & go city route I only used two thirds of the battery charge. I am impressed with this ebike's performance! At my age I can't imagine taking a ride long enough to run out of juice. Love this eBike!"    -Doug S.

Huge increase in performance: "My new eBike! As an inexperienced eBike rider I used a full battery charge on a 14.7 mile loop with over 1,000 ft elevation rise, paved, mountain road loop labeled "extremely difficult". Two months later on same loop I had 3/4's of battery charge left. This huge increase was due to me learning to balance the 5 pedal assist gears with the 7 mechanical gears. I'm sure an experienced bike rider would have less of a learning curve with this than I did."      -Doug S.

"My Typical Ride Stats:
24 mi stop & go city loop. --- 530ft. elevation climb. --- Used 1\3 of battery charge. --- Inexperienced rider.  --- 68yrs old."

"After my heart attack my wife said "This is the bike I'm getting you so you can get off the couch and outside!" And this is the bike she's getting for her birthday so we can spend that time together. After all, its about the same cost as that nice treadmill sitting in the back corner and much more fun."     -Wendell M.

"I remember way back when everyone went from a one speed to a 10 speed to assist their muscles for hills.
My friends said "What a bunch of pansies!" But I learned from experience the benefits and so did everyone else.
Now everyone is going from 20 speeds to electric motors to get that same assist and more! Its a new generation of transportation."     -Larry T.

Ride green- ride litestream ebikes

We at Portland eBikes believe that with the coming of age of electric bikes a new breed of rider is now becoming more mobile on bicycles. By amplifying our muscle power one doesn’t need to be an X-stream biker to cover great distances. I’ve talked to people all over the country who have turned to ebikes to get back in shape after bouts with cancer, heart attacks and unexpected weight gains. Many more are commuting without putting extra stress on their bodies, or working up a sweat on their way to work. As we transition into the age of global warming now is the time to warm up to greener forms of transportation.
